Laurie Simmons

The newer pieces in this series are also very interesting.

Michael Brodeur

Recently I have been spoiled rotten meeting several artists whose work I greatly enjoy. These architectural paintings I find particularly beautiful.

Mac Conner

Flipping through American Art Review from November to December I was reminded of this great brain. I am particularly interested in his idea of removing middle values, and his start as a sign painter.

Paul Thek

When I went to see this show, I remember being so uncomfortable and grossed out by stacks of meat that my ability to look at a lot of the work was thwarted by my own stomach or lack there of. The work did however leave a great impression on me, as several years later I sit in my studio and think of this image.

Jaume Plensa

I clearly need to get out more.

John Nost Sartorius

Another set of paintings that drive home the need for multiples in my weary painting practice.

Michael Borremans

There is something so poignant about these paintings; their communication seems clear, seems precise.

Lygia Clark

As I thinking of what work I want to spend more time considering, this brilliant lady comes to mind once again.

Eugenia Loli

Today I came across Eugenia Loli's work through High Fructose and found several pieces I like.

Cynthia

Mannequins have always fascinated me, but the thought of a mannequin having a TV show has never previously occurred to me.
